Massive Bitcoin transfers made

Whale Alert, a blockchain tracking platform, has detected multiple transactions over the past 24 hours by different BTC whales to move 35,237 Bitcoins worth approximately $1,363,740,000 ($1.36 Billion) from Coinbase to anonymous wallets. The largest recorded transaction amounted to 9,901 BTC (over $387 million). In addition, two similar transfers of 9,867 and 9,843 BTC were recorded.

Some of the biggest whales have transferred over 35,000 BTC in less than 10 transactions in the last 24 hours. According to experts, these moves may be the reason for increased market volatility. However, experts note that crypto whales often try to manipulate or influence the price of the cryptocurrency with such transactions.

Lark Davis, a popular crypto trader and analyst, suggests that these transactions could be internal transfers or a new mega-entry to the market:

3 transactions like this happened a few hours ago on Coinbase. More than a billion Bitcoins have been moved from the exchange. There may be internal transfers. It could be a new mega-entry to the market. Either way, it’s a shit ton of BTC!!!

Glassnode, a leading on-chain data provider for Bitcoin, has released the BTC Accumulation Trend Score. The data shows that price insensitive Bitcoin holders of different wallet sizes are accumulating in the current market.
