We are the last among EU countries in the purchase of new cars

Statements from the government wing that the economy will improve continue to come. On the other hand, the public is wondering if the price hikes will be lifted after the fall in the exchange rate. In the meantime, in a list of 31 European countries, it has been announced that Turkey ranks third from the bottom in the list of ‘new cars per capita’.

Even though the days go by, the Turkish people have only one issue that has not fallen off the agenda lately and that forces almost everyone to become an economist: TL situation and economy. These days, when most of the people look at the dollar rate on the phone as soon as they get up in the morning, there are also statements from the government about ‘purchasing power’.

As you know, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced the ‘Turkish Economy Model’ last week and made statements that things would improve. While the opposition side complained about the price hikes and the gradual decrease in purchasing power, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had pointed out that there was no problem in the economy by using the expressions “every house has a car” about two months ago. We are ahead of only Romania and Bulgaria:
