Voyager Empties Meme Coin: Will There Be A Continuation?

Bankrupt crypto lender Voyager has handled several notable meme coin transactions and recently disposed of exactly 300 billion Shiba Inu. According to the data obtained, the company earned $ 3.74 million from this sale of SHIB. Voyager has sold a total of 870 billion SHIBs since February, generating more than $10.5 million in total for them. So does Voyager have any other SHIBs?

The bankrupt credit institution still has 6.2 trillion SHIB in its account. In other words, the meme coin sold in February does not even exceed 15% of the company’s holdings. At the same time, the price of SHIB has dropped more than 20% from the month’s peak, allowing Shiba Inu to achieve a better monthly result compared to Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) overall.

Considering that Voyager initially had over 8 trillion Shiba Inu (SHIB) on its balance sheet, it can be said that the meme coin price has successfully resisted pressure from a major seller. However, it is unclear whether this trend will continue. If Voyager starts dumping its holdings more aggressively into the market, the price of SHIB could drop significantly in the absence of exciting developments like the Shibarium narrative.

It is worth remembering that Voyager filed for bankruptcy in July after the collapse of the Terra ecosystem, which had a ripple effect on the entire crypto space in May. Binance.US agreed to buy some of Voyager’s assets in December last year. But the deal was not successful. Binance.US has so far stayed out of the deal and has not made any new deals with Voyager.
