Analysts underline that sedan vehicles are gradually decreasing in the US market. Passat, which has a history of almost 50 years in the US market, reached a high number of sales despite the decrease in interest in sedan vehicles.

The 2022 Passat Limited Edition, which came off the production line in Tennesee in December, went down in history as the last Passat produced by the company. Volkswagen has announced that it will begin production of electric SUVs for the ID.4 on its current production line. The facility will also be converted into an electric vehicle test center for Volkswagen’s North American operations.
