According to the ETH Merge update countdown, the update readiness has reached 99%.
Bellatrix Hard Fork will get the Beacon chain (consensus phase) ready for merging with the ETH Mainnet (implementation phase). New rules will be added to the protocol with the Hard Fork.
The next improvement will be the Paris Hard Fork, which will take place during the implementation phase. Immediately after, the highly anticipated Merge update will take place between 13-15 September.
Although the ETH Foundation’s predicted date for the update was announced as September 15, the most likely date is expected to be September 14 according to the incoming data.
On the other hand, ETH price started to rise ahead of Bellatrix Hard Fork. ETH price is up over 6% in the past 24 hours and the current price is trading around the $1,660 level.
