User-friendly solution to Bluetooth tracking devices from Google

Apple launched a new era in bluetooth tracking accessories with AirTag, which it introduced last year. APK Insight discovered a clue about the tracking device app developed by Google.

AirTag was introduced at the Spring loaded event held on April 20, 2021. Then, at the end of last year, Apple released the Tracker Detect application so that Android users can also use AirTag.

Siri and AirTag innovation in iOS 15.4!

With the iOS 15.4 Beta 4 version, Apple introduced new alerts for AirTag and a new voice option for Siri.

Google develops app for Bluetooth trackers

Companies such as Samsung, Tile and Apple develop special applications for their products. Google, which wants to gather all products under one roof, has finally started working.

The tracking device lines in the codes in a Google application published on the Play Store attracted the attention of the APK Insight team. Examining the application in detail, the team found more clues about the new feature.

In mid-March, Google pressed the button to expand the scope of Play services on new Android models. In the latest version, 22.2.13, features such as “Unfamiliar device alerts” and “Unknown Tag Detected Notification” were added for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices.

The published lines of code include tags such as Tile, ATag and Finder. It is estimated that the ATAg tag will be used for AirTag developed by Apple. It is not yet known which company the Finder belongs to.

Developers are encountering many different bugs as Bluetooth tracker detection is still under development. Apple and Tile fixed this issue by allowing users to manually control their tracker.
