Unexpected Togg surprise on new driver’s license!

Recently, the Ministry of Interior announced the new e-Passport, e-Blue Card and e-Driver’s License. The most talked about one among them was the e-Passport, which has reached the final stage in mass production. But today, the unexpected Togg surprise on the new driver’s license caught the attention.

The driver’s license will have the silhouette of Togg on it!

According to the emerging information, Togg silhouette will be placed on driver’s licenses instead of an ordinary car in the coming period. It was even stated that there will be a car with seat belts and a driver. However, the IDs will be uploaded to the chip here. It has also been harmonized with EU and ISO regulations.

Making the first statement on the subject, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said:

Mr. President also announced yesterday, I hope we will start to produce our own e-passport in August. Our new domestic e-passport has a contactless chip with TÜBİTAK AKİS Operating System and many new security elements. In the new domestic e-passport, upon the instructions of our President, the expression ‘Turkey’ was used for the first time instead of ‘Turkey’. Its design is an original design. On each page of the passport, there will be design features such as images of historical, cultural and spiritual values ​​belonging to a city of our country, and plant images specific to the city.

In the statement made, it was said that e-Passports, which were previously produced by a company in Europe, will be produced locally from now on. It was stated that due to the ongoing chip crisis, steps were taken to become domestic as a result of the company’s difficulties in supply, and mass production would begin in a short time. It was also said that the phrase Turkey on the passports would be changed to Turkey.
