Zelensky: No taboos on arms deliveries to Ukraine
According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, there should be no taboos on arms deliveries to Ukraine. He agreed with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte on this, said Selenski at a joint press conference in Kiev. This will protect and support the sovereignty of Ukraine. There shouldn’t be any delays, emphasizes Selenski.
Rutte is staying in the Ukrainian capital. Ukraine has repeatedly asked its Western allies for more weapons, including fighter jets, more main battle tanks and long-range weapons. Rutte assures that the Leopard 1A5 main battle tanks that the Netherlands, Denmark and Germany want to buy for Ukraine will be delivered as soon as possible. “As soon as the first batch is ready to fight, it will be delivered to Ukraine, we want to do that as soon as possible.” The Netherlands is also ready to host a new tribunal to investigate the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
