UBS appoints Khan as sole wealth manager

Zurich The major Swiss bank UBS is reorganizing its group management. The UBS manager Iqbal Khan should lead the asset management division alone in the future, the money house announced on Tuesday evening. The current co-head of the asset management division, Tom Naratil, will resign from his duties at the beginning of October and will leave the group management.

Naratil will also step down as head of UBS Americas. Naureen Hassan has been appointed as his successor as President of UBS Americas. She comes to UBS from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and is to become a member of the UBS executive board. Khan is being talked about as a possible candidate for the CEO post at UBS. Since joining UBS in 2019, he has served as co-head of wealth management alongside Naratil.
