However, this was the beginning of the story. These wallets then made a remarkable profit by purchasing 122.74 million BRETT for 890.65 ETH worth $3.14 million through multiple wallets. This profit reached up to 30,830 times.

According to Coinbase, whitelisted wallets are approved participants for a specific crypto event, such as an initial coin offering (ICO). A crypto analyst with the nickname Shady stated that the Brett distributor had whitelisted 139 addresses. This has raised many questions in the crypto community and raised transparency and security concerns regarding the movements of these wallets.

Brett introduces himself as the “mascot” of Base chain. Meme coin is trading at $0.0397 at the time of writing and is down more than 14% in the last 24 hours.

Lookonchain also reported that a long-dormant Ethereum wallet suddenly transferred 2,000 ETH worth $6.65 million over the weekend. The wallet received its ETH investment from the Ethereum Foundation on September 22, 2015; At the time, the price of the second-largest crypto asset on the market was just $0.90, meaning the value of the assets increased by approximately 370,000% in nine years.
