Twitter Adds Support To Two Cryptocurrencies, Here Are The Details!

twitterhas added information on users’ Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) prices to its ‘search function’. Users will be able to see the details by typing the name of the relevant asset in the search section.

The new feature added is actually an enhanced version of the “$Cashtags” function and was announced on December 21 by the Twitter Business account.

A major stock, exchange-traded fund, or cryptocurrency People who tweet with a $ sign in front of the currency symbol will now be redirected to search results, which also include price charts for these assets.

He also stated that simply searching for the ticker symbol, be it a stock or cryptocurrency, will also bring up the price chart.

Shortly after that, on December 22, Twitter CEO Elon Musk retweeted the announcement of the new feature, stating that it was “one of many product enhancements coming to financial Twitter.”

The new feature currently only works for Bitcoin and Ethereum. Crypto assets, including Dogecoin, do not yet have this feature.

However, Twitter Business has announced that it expects to expand the scope of symbols and improve the user experience “in the coming weeks.”

Technology blogger Jane Mastodon Wong told her 158,700 Twitter followers on Dec. 21 that the charts were taken from trading analysis platform TradingView.

The price charts also include a clickable “View in Robinhood” link in the lower left corner, indicating that the retail trading platform is collaborating with Twitter for this integration.

However, no partnership details were disclosed between Twitter and Robinhood.
