The social media platform Twitter allows users to interact with each other. cryptocurrencies within the scope of the feature that allows tipping to be sent with Ethereum announced that their addresses have been taken.
Previously, this feature was bitcoin working with addresses.
Twitter Announces Users Can Now Send ETH to Each Other as Tips
The social media giant added Bitcoin tips to its app in September. Users will now be able to send ETH tips to each other using their Ethereum wallet. Let us remind you that the feature only works in the mobile application.

This move by Twitter comes after the company is increasingly exploring the ETH ecosystem. Twitter had implemented a paid NFT verification application called “Twitter Blue” on the platform last month. However, Ethereum wallet support will be open to all paying or non-paying users, provided they agree to the company’s tip policy.
Speaking on the subject, a Twitter spokesperson stated that the new feature will not include the domain name service called Ethereum Name Service (ENS).
Not Known Yet Whether Other Tokens and Stablecoins On The Ethereum Blockchain Will Be Supported
However, it is not yet clear whether the company will only accept ETH or whether all ERC-20 and stablecoins on the Ethereum Blockchain will be among the supported cryptocurrencies.
Twitter also announced in its statement that the tip feature is now available for Nigeria, Ghana and India regions.
Former CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, is known to be an extremely passionate Bitcoin advocate. In order to be more involved with Bitcoin, Dorsey quit his job at Twitter and changed the name of his other company, Square, to Block. Dorsey said in his past statements that he wanted to devote himself entirely to Bitcoin one day.
