Turkey Chasing This Meme Coin: CryptoManiaks Report

Contrary to expectations, the decline in the crypto money market did not destroy the interest in the market. A new study by cryptocurrency education platform CryptoManiaks revealed that many countries still have high interest in cryptocurrencies.

According to the research, 8.2% of the population in the Netherlands and 5.5% in Turkey search for crypto-related terms. Turkey takes the lead in searches with 4.7 million searches.

In the study, the number of users who made searches on crypto money was proportioned to the total population. While the study is based on monthly data, it covers many different countries.

Dogecoin altcoin

Turkey, which ranks second in general searches, meme coin It ranked first in searches related to Dogecoin with 812,000 monthly searches. This figure is almost double that of Ethereum, the third most sought-after crypto in Turkey.

A spokesperson from CryptoManiaks spoke about the growing interest in Dogecoin.

“Dogecoin’s popularity has surpassed that of Ethereum in a significant number of countries. There were nearly 2 million more monthly searches for Dogecoin worldwide.”

Associated with multi-billionaire Elon Musk, Dogecoin continues to be one of the phenomena of the cryptocurrency world.

Some of the cryptocurrencies included in the search terms are Bitcoin, Solana, and BNB; Netherlands and Turkey were followed by Germany, Canada and the Czech Republic.

While the United States and the United Kingdom are major players in the global cryptocurrency industry, neither of them ranked high due to the number of searches equivalent to their population sizes. The US ranked 15th with 1.9% of the population searching for these terms, while the UK ranked 12th with 2.6%.
