Berlin The parliamentary groups of SPD, Greens and FDP have specified their plans on how to promote the switch to climate-friendly heating systems. The maximum eligible investment costs for replacing the heating system should be 30,000 euros for single-family houses. In the case of multi-party houses, they are EUR 30,000 for the first residential unit, EUR 10,000 each for the second to sixth residential units and EUR 3,000 each from the seventh residential unit.
This emerges from the draft of the three government factions for a motion for a resolution on the Building Energy Act (GEG), which is to be passed by the Bundestag on Friday. In the application, the traffic light groups call on the federal government to submit a funding concept and to finance it “as before permanently – even beyond the period of the current financial planning – exclusively from funds from the Climate and Transformation Fund (KTF)”.
