The Digital Media Commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey convened under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Commission, Deputy Hüseyin Yayman, to hold discussions on the issue, especially TikTok and other social media. During the meetings, Commission Chairman Deputy Hüseyin Yaman said, “Just as it is against the law, moral values and law for a woman to undress and collect money in the city square, the same rule applies to social media.” He continued his speech: “There are especially young children in these media and they are exposed to such harmful content. “I would like to express that there are some preparations in the Turkish Grand National Assembly regarding these issues.” He pointed out that the necessary preparations were made for these practices within the parliament.
