Raoul Pal, CEO of Real Vision and a former Goldman Sasch executive, shared his thoughts on the trajectory of the metaverse universe and which crypto project will rise to the top in it.
In a new interview with InvestAnswers, the former Goldman Sachs executive said it was trading at $6.19 at the time of writing. When asked what his favorite investment option in the metaverse is, Pal comments:
“None of them are perfect. Will the world be built on Sandbox or Decentraland? I do not think so. Can they adapt, change and become something different? Maybe.
Sandbox has become my second biggest investment as it has increased 20 times in one month.
I strongly believe in the Metaverse, but it’s not a physical place. It’s a kind of digital situation. So I don’t think there is a way to avoid risk.”
The crypto visionary goes on to say that virtual real estate may not be as hot a commodity as real-world property.
“Also, I’m concerned with ownership of digital real estate, not experience with the metaverse…
I’m more concerned about people buying real estate in Decentraland or Sandbox to be Snoop Dogg’s neighbor. Does it have any value or not?

“I’m worried it’s too early yet. I will not keep my investments here for long because I do not have much faith that these are the right choices.

Ethereum is becoming a good representative for now. It’s not perfect, but that’s okay.”
ETH is trading at $4,464 at the time of writing, down about 5 percent on the day.
