LayerZero tripled its value in the last round.
Investors participating in the final round included the crypto arm of the famous investment firm Andreessen Horowitz, as well as prominent names such as the famous auction house Christie’s, Sequoia Capital and Samsung Next.
The raised capital will go towards LayerZero’s growth initiatives, including expanding its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
Speaking on the subject, Bryan Pellegrino, co-founder of LayerZero Labs said:
“There’s more to us than money. Our goal was more about aligning ourselves with a great set of partners than money.
In this funding round, we had very specific goals about who we wanted to include in our partnerships group.
And in the end, we achieved everything we aimed for.”
LayerZero is used by a number of on-chain applications, including decentralized exchanges PancakeSwap, Sushiswap, TraderJoe, and Uniswap.
