A precursor to the upcoming v2.2.1, v2.2.0 includes major improvements such as kernel upgrade, cosmos SDK upgrade, tendermint migration to CometBFT, IBC-go to v6, and wasmd. Additionally, the upgrade implements key changes that have previously received approval through governance voting, including the splitting of the altcoin burn tax into the distribution module.
