This Altcoin Jumps into the Top 10!

Terra (LUNA) removed Dogecoin (DOGE) from the top 10 on the cryptocurrency ranking site CoinMarketCap (CMC), placing the altcoin in the Top 10. This attack by LUNA comes just one day after they surpassed another meme coin, Shiba Inu (SHIB).

LUNA, the staking and management token of the Terra protocol, performed tremendously, rising more than 60% last week. This Friday, the LUNA token hit a record high at $69.56, even though almost all major cryptocurrencies are in red.

Bitcoin is down 1% today and continues its lethargic streak of price action. The leading cryptocurrency is trading in line with the US stock market, which is currently under pressure after a November jobs report suggested that the Federal Reserve may encourage it to act more aggressively on tapering.
