It’s such a bug that from a certain point in the game it’s hinders progress in the game. It even requires restarting the game.

Bug blocking progress on planet Koboh

This bug is preventing progress on a chapter on the planet Koboh at the start of the game. According to a post shared on Reddit, when players die in this episode they can’t go back to the point they saved and they get stuck.

To avoid this error, players’ ‘chamber of duality‘ and exit the elevator (after helping the droid) immediately need to meditate at a meditation point. Otherwise, when they die, they are trapped in the room with the elevator turned off and they can’t fast travel. In this case, the only solution is to restart the game.
