The future of Seat is called Cupra

Dusseldorf, Madrid It’s actually Seat’s annual press conference. But when CEO Wayne Griffiths opened the event in Barcelona in mid-March, he almost only had words for Seat’s sister brand Cupra. Four new Cupra models will be launched by 2025. New Seat models? none. Last year Cupra achieved a turnover of 2.2 billion euros, in 2022 it should be five billion euros.

“The sustainable future viability of our company is very closely related to the growth of Cupra. We see our new brand as a lever to increase profitability,” emphasizes Seat boss Griffiths.
