Although it is seen as a big step, the project is at the center of discussions. It was previously known that Neuralink had difficulties in obtaining some legal permissions. Scientific experiments, especially on humans, have been rejected many times. In fact, the company, which allegedly conducted some experiments without legal permission, was able to obtain permission to work on humans for the first time in May 2023.
Neuralink states that their main goal is to provide interaction between the brain and artificial intelligence by directly connecting the human brain with computers. He wants to achieve this by treating neurological diseases with the implant he developed in the first place.
