52 expert speakers shared the latest trends and developments in the industry with the participants. The event also attracted attention as a platform where more than 40 entrepreneurs could showcase their innovative products and services.
SDN Summit was held under the main sponsorship of big brands such as Hepsiburada and Turkcell. This event, held for the first time, created great excitement in the consumer electronics and technology sector in Turkey. The summit, which started with the opening speech by Hakkı Alkan, the founder of ShiftDelete.Net, brought together important figures from the world of technology and entrepreneurship.
At the event, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey, emphasized the importance of SDN Summit for Turkey and stated that the size of the event should double in the coming years. Kacır also stated that artificial intelligence-focused training and workshops will be expanded for young people and women. Presidential Investment Office President Burak Dağlıoğlu talked about the opportunities Turkey offers in terms of international investments and drew attention to the importance of the role technology plays in the global economy.
Hepsiburada introduced its work on the drone delivery system at the event. While CEO Nilhan Onal Gökçetekin was explaining the project, the Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey expressed his satisfaction with the project. In addition, Turkcell CEO Ali Taha Koç shared his experiences in America and emphasized the developments in areas such as 5G, artificial intelligence and quantum computing.
In the financial technologies panel, MasterCard Turkey General Manager Avşar Gürdal gave information about the status of digital payments in Turkey and talked about the contributions of digitalization to the economy. Binance Turkey Marketing Director Harika Eldoğan emphasized the importance of regulations in the cryptocurrency market in order to protect user security and the reputation of the sector.
