dogecoin Owners were shaken by the announcement that Dogechain, a popular chain tracker, was shutting down its wallet service. Active since 2013, the platform allowed users to search the network for addresses, transactions and blocks. Moreover, it also offered a DOGE wallet and free developer API.
An announcement is made to secure the assets before June 1, the date when the platform will be closed. Mishaboar, a member of the Dogecoin community, issued a reminder to DOGE owners with the following lines: sent.”
Dear #dogecoinlisten to @_nformant!
Make sure to move your Doge out of https://t.co/sWn3YMDuTx (only use the .info domain!) before June 1st.

Scammers will look for opportunities to take advantage of this situation to defraud unsuspecting users of their money using phishing emails. As a note of caution, Mishaboar urges the DOGE community to never directly click on links in an email, but instead manually type the address. They should also remember that the official legitimate domain name is dogechain dot info. In the past, the dogechain dot com domain has been used for phishing attacks and should therefore be avoided.
In a previous tweet, Mishaboar urged the Dogecoin community to withdraw their funds from the Dogechain wallet before the closure date. Additionally, Dogechain should keep a copy of their wallets’ private keys in case the addresses are still in use somewhere, allowing users to recover funds they might accidentally send or receive in the future.
