According to the changes made with the “Proposal on Amending the Law on State Symbols of the Kyrgyz Republic” approved by President Sadir Djaparov on December 22, 2023, the wave-shaped sun rays on the country’s flag were flattened and the number of lines in the motif in the middle was increased. These changes aim for a stronger and more meaningful representation of Kyrgyzstan’s national symbols.
