The Name of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization has been Changed

After the Cabinet Meeting, President Erdoğan announced that the name of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization has been changed.

While there were many topics on Turkey’s agenda, the statements to be made after the Cabinet Meeting held today were also eagerly awaited. One of these titles was, of course, the coronavirus. After the meeting, President Erdoğan went to the cameras and received statements about the course of the coronavirus in our country and climate change.

The first structural change came after the Paris Climate Agreement:

President Erdogan, the name of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change announced that it was changed to Erdoğan also announced that the Climate Change and Adaptation Coordination Board and the Climate Change Presidency will be established within the ministry.
