Ford’s second fully electric model, E-Transit Custom, which will be produced at the Gölcük factory, was showcased.

What will Ford Transit Custom offer drivers?

According to the news of journalist Emre Özpeynirci After Ford Otosan’s first fully electric commercial model, E-Transit, E-Transit Custom took the stage in the past hours. The commercial planned to be produced in Kocaeli Gölcük factory; It will come with a range of 380 kilometers, DC fast charging support, full towing capability and dynamic design.

When we look at the design of the vehicle, we see a thin and hexagonal grille surrounded by LED lights at the front. On the other hand, the charging point is located under the right headlight. The rest of the commercial design is inspired by traditional Transit models.

Various features will also be found in the vehicle, such as a 12.0-inch touchscreen display running Ford’s latest Sync 4 infotainment system, three driving modes and variable regenerative braking. It will also have an exportable 2.3kW power supply for onsite operation of tools or other external devices with Pro Power Onboard.

Production of the new Ford E-Transit Custom, which will also have internal combustion versions, will begin in the second half of 2023. Its physical launch is expected to take place in September. Therefore, other features of the commercial are not yet clear.
