iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro come with different display technologies
With the new generation of iPhone, Pro models will offer a better experience in display technology as well as camera and performance data. Accordingly, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will not have the ProMotion feature, which is the Apple equivalent of rapid screen refresh.

Apple is meticulously working on the iPhone 14 series. The company is working with Sunny Optical in this direction.
In addition, the iPhone 14 with a 6.1-inch screen and the iPhone 14 Max models, which will come up with a 6.7-inch screen, will use LTPS back panel and Samsung’s M11 material set. Samsung’s M material set refers to the components used in the construction of the display panel. M-series kits are only found in iPhone and Samsung’s premium Galaxy models.
On the other hand, iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max models will have LTPO back panels to use the ProMotion feature. It is also stated that the newly developed M12 material set will be used on new smartphones that receive Pro jewelry.
We will first see the M12 material set in the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 models, which will be revealed soon. The M11 set is used in Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra models. In the S22 model, Samsung included the older M10 set.
Samsung will supply display panels for all four iPhone 14 models. And according to the news, the company has already received 80 million panel orders. It seems that Apple wants to separate the standard iPhone and Pro models with clearer lines. Pro models seem to provide better performance than other models in every sense.
