The Decline in CBRT Gold Reserves Continues

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) announced weekly money and bank statistics, which are critical data regarding foreign exchange and gold reserves. As of September 8, the CBRT’s gross foreign exchange reserves increased by 505 million dollars compared to the previous week, reaching 79 billion 271 million dollars.

However, gold reserves It decreased from 41 billion 858 million dollars to 41 billion 374 million dollars. Total reserves increased from 120 billion 624 million dollars to 120 billion 645 million dollars.

While net international reserves were 16 billion 154 million dollars in the previous week, they increased to 16 billion 278 million dollars as of September 8.

However, net reserves excluding swap transactions were recorded as -57.9 billion dollars last week.
