As it is known, Tesla had recently been on the agenda by recalling a total of 817 thousand 143 vehicles, including 2017-2022 Model 3, 2021-22 Model S, 2021-2022 Model X and 2020-2022 Model Y due to a possible seat belt bell failure. .
In the statement made by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA); Tesla announced that it has decided to recall another 26,681 vehicles due to the defrosting problem on the windshield caused by a software error.
The vehicles that Tesla recalled due to the stated problem are as follows; 2021-2022 Model 3, Model S, Model X, and 2020-2022 Model Y.
Let’s say that the software error in question caused a valve in the heat pump in the vehicles to open unintentionally and the cooler remained in the evaporator, causing the windshield defrosting problem. As a result, the visibility of the windshield is reduced and the risk of an accident is greatly increased.
Tesla announced that it will also release an over-the-air (OTA) update in order to solve this problem as quickly as possible for the 26 thousand 681 vehicles it recalled.
