Google Cloud Will Become Verifier on Altcoin Tezos (XTZ) Network
Google Cloud is known as a cloud information platform where Google offers server infrastructure services, which are also used by sites such as Google search engine and Youtube, to the end user.
With the new announcement, Google’s cloud computing operator will become a validator on the Tezos network. Google Cloud’s enterprise customers will be able to deploy Tezos nodes (a type of computer that runs software on a blockchain to verify and store a history of transactions) to build Web3 applications over the network.
Integration with Tezos marks Google Cloud’s latest integration with a blockchain network; platform in October Ethereum started hosting a node for their projects and soon became a validator on Solana.
Such integrations demonstrate the tech giants’ interest in blockchain and Web3 projects. Such breakthroughs by leading companies undoubtedly support the entry of other technology companies into this field.
The Tezos network has gained traction in recent years, thanks to its energy-efficient proof-of-stake consensus mechanism that allows anyone to participate in verifying transactions on the network.
