Frankfurt With the tax return for the year 2022, the chances of a refund are good again. Several lump sums and allowances have been raised, plus there are tax-free premiums and those that have to be taxed. After ten percent inflation at times and back payments for energy costs that have risen sharply in the meantime, the population will have tax relief. The limit on benefits in kind and the flat-rate income-related expenses increase, and the additional income limit for pensioners is also raised. Some allowances, for example for moving costs or maintenance, have also been increased.
