Defense Industry President İsmail Demir announced the new technology that will enable the Turkish army to take a few steps ahead of its rivals on the battlefield. With the AR/VR headset developed within the scope of the Beyond Armor Vision project, tanks that have been in the background for a while will be able to be used effectively again.
Combat tactics are being rewritten with the Beyond Armor Sight project
With the Beyond Armor Vision project, personnel in armored vehicles, especially tanks, will be able to use AR / VR headsets. In this way, it will be able to access both the cameras outside the vehicle that can shoot 360 degrees day and night, and the data transferred from the command center.
Of course, this technology will not only connect with the camera located outside the armored vehicle. For example, data such as targeted enemy elements, especially the data of the battlefield monitored by a UAV, can be transferred to tank personnel even though they are not yet within sight.

Developed by ASELSAN and Sefine shipyard, Marlin SİDA broke new ground by participating in the international NATO exercise.
Similarly, the positions of other friendly elements and their intelligence will be transmitted. In other words, the personnel in the tank will actually be able to see all friendly and enemy elements day and night thanks to this AR headgear and act accordingly.
Thanks to the retina scanner inside the AR headgear, the identity of the personnel will be detected and they will be able to access the data according to their authorization. For example, while all data of the battlefield will be transferred to the tank commander, only information about the route and vehicle will be shown to the driver, and target positions to the gunner.
