Siemens Healthineers raises the forecast again thanks to corona tests

The sale of rapid corona tests has boosted the business of Siemens’ medical technology division for longer than expected. Siemens Healthineers therefore again raised its sales and profit expectations for the current 2021/22 fiscal year on Wednesday: The Sales volume will be effective at the end of September on a like-for-like basis 5.5 to 7.5 percent above the previous year’s level lie; so far, the Siemens subsidiary had expected three to five percent. The antigen tests alone are said to contribute 1.3 million euros, 600 million more than originally thought.
