According to Shibburn data, an emerging token, Blaze Token, burned 1,238,951,893 (1.23 billion) Shiba Inu (SHIB) in a single transaction about 15 hours before press time. This meme coin burning attracted a lot of attention as the biggest burning event of the day.
Thanks to the two transactions that took place alongside this major burn, the Shiba Inu community has removed a total of 1,240,951,903 (1.24 billion) meme coins from circulation in the past 24 hours. As we mentioned above, Blaze Token carried out the most important burning of the day.
The massive burning process caused the Shiba Inu’s burning rate to increase by 2372% compared to the last day.
In addition to these, as a recent development, the meme coin community shared some information about the private SHIB burning portal of Shibarium, the 2nd layer network of the ecosystem. The design of the portal shows that Shibarium will convert BONE tokens into Shiba Inu. These converted SHIB tokens will then be sent to the burn address, thereby significantly reducing the meme coin supply.
In addition, Shiba Inu has recently received support for listing on two major exchanges, including CoinMENA, a Bahrain-based exchange, and Digitra.com, a Brazil-based exchange.
