Microsoft is bringing an important update to its iconic Paint app after a long time. With the new bundle for Windows 11 Paint dark mode will receive support. This will make the app more useful for simple photo editing tasks.

Paint gets dark mode in Windows 11

Microsoft has announced a number of new features for testers in the Dev and Canary editions of Windows 11. Within the published update, Paint 11.2304.17.0 version also got dark mode. Paint can now be used in light/dark mode, adapting to users’ system theme preferences.

Besides the dark mode, the photo editing app zoom mode it also changes. While the classic settings are available, users will now be able to manually control zooming in/out with a new slider. Also added support for “fit to screen”, which optimizes zoom levels to fit screen size.
