Markus described DOGE as the internet’s “original tipping cryptocurrency.”

The campaign in question states that Dogecoin has the lowest transaction fees among major cryptocurrencies, which also DOGEHe says it makes it a great choice for tipping.
Last May, Twitter rolled out the “tipping” feature, which makes it possible to send money to other users of the social media platform. This feature was introduced as a way to support creators. Initially, only traditional payment solutions such as PayPal, Venmo and Block’s Cash App were among the available options.
