Dusseldorf What do investors expect from the stock market year 2022? According to a recent survey, the answer is in summary: a rather typical course. In numbers: There should be a new annual high in May. The range should be between 16,750 and 17,350 points, the weighted price target at 16,954 points. After that, investors expect a correction that will bottom in September – with a range between 14,950 and 13,750 points. The weighted average is 14,281 positions.
The leading index should then rise again to the current price level by the end of the year. The forecasts for the end of the year are between 15,750 and 17,250 points, the weighted average at 16,348 points. This corresponds to an annual increase of 2.9 percent.
These numbers are the result of the annual Dax Sentiment survey. Since 2014, in collaboration with sentiment expert Stephan Heibel, investors have been asked about their assessment of the coming stock market year.
