Stardew Valley update date has been announced

Eric Barone (ConcernedApe), the developer of the game, announced when the new major update will arrive. The Stardew Valley update will offer PC players many new features, including eight-player multiplayer support, new festivals, items, lines of dialogue, and late-stage content for the game.

Stardew Valley is getting its long-awaited 1.6 update in March

Announced to coincide with Stardew Valley’s eighth anniversary, update 1.6 will be released on March 19 for PC (Windows/macOS/Linux) players and will arrive as soon as possible for console and mobile platforms.

We know a few things about the upcoming content, thanks to a photo shared by ConcernedApe in September. This content includes three unnamed festivals, one major and the other two minor. There are also new items, crafting recipes, rewards for billboard missions, and late-game content that each expands five skills: farming, fishing, mining, harvesting, and combat.

More than 100 new lines of dialogue will be added for local villagers, while new winter clothing will also be added to the game.

We may also see Joja-themed alternatives for end game missions and a new farm type that has yet to be revealed. Other uncertainties, such as new secrets and minor additions, have also been partially revealed, but we’ll have to wait for the full patch notes for more details. Finally, multiplayer support for PC is being expanded from four to eight players.

Have we reached the end of the road in the Battlefield series?

Battlefield series game director Marcus Letho has left EA and Ridgeline Games. Alright what now?

Constantly delivering new content to a game’s fan base for nearly a decade is no small feat, especially considering this game started as a single-person project.
