Dusseldorf The number of job applications at the Dax companies has reached a new record. The level of vacancies was already very high in the first half of the year. In July, Germany’s 40 most important companies were looking for 28,418 new employees. This is the result of an evaluation of the job exchange Indeed, which was created exclusively for the Handelsblatt.
Even if the number of advertisements has recently increased more slowly, a trend of increasing advertisements in the Dax has been discernible for months. At the beginning of the year, around 24,000 jobs were still advertised in the country’s most important listed companies.
Deutsche Post, Fresenius together with the dialysis subsidiary Fresenius Medical Care and BMW are currently looking for the most new staff. The best career options are in the areas of IT, medicine and logistics.
