Russian forces have apparently changed their tactics as part of the Ukrainian counter-offensive and learned from past military mistakes.
This emerges from a report by the “New York Times”, which is based on experts and an operational log of a battle near the city of Bakhmut from last March.
Accordingly, the Russian military leadership has adapted to Ukrainian war strategies in recent months. The New York Times reports that a series of tactical changes have enabled Russia to gain ground, particularly in the Bakhmut region.
How did Russia change its strategy?
As part of its change of strategy, the Kremlin has primarily made changes to troop coordination and air force support, the US daily reports, citing interviews with a total of 17 military experts, prisoners of war and soldiers.
