Russian forces have apparently changed their tactics as part of the Ukrainian counter-offensive and learned from past military mistakes.

This emerges from a report by the “New York Times”, which is based on experts and an operational log of a battle near the city of Bakhmut from last March.

Accordingly, the Russian military leadership has adapted to Ukrainian war strategies in recent months. The New York Times reports that a series of tactical changes have enabled Russia to gain ground, particularly in the Bakhmut region.
