Shazam will now be able to identify songs on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok on iOS devices with its new feature. In this way, users can easily find the name of the songs they encounter in these applications and who they belong to.
This new feature offered by the application can be quite useful. Because the songs playing in the background of the videos watched on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok do not always find a place in the explanations. Shazam, which gained the ability to recognize songs playing on other applications on iOS devices with the latest v15.36 update, previously offered a similar feature on Android devices. With the feature added in 2019, Android k users can search for songs they listen to with their ears on Shazam.
All iOS users have to do to use this feature is to click the blue button after opening Shazam and then return to YouTube, Instagram or TikTok again. In this way, the songs that are curious on social media platforms can be easily found.
Apple bought the Shazam app for $400 million in 2018. A Shazam option was added in the Control Center shortly after the purchasing process was completed. Users could thus add the Shazam key directly to this section.
