Dusseldorf Good salary prospects with little work: Every employee has probably dreamed of a job like this at some point. But in reality, a reduced number of working hours also results in less money in the account. The good news is: even if less common, there are still many positions that are so well paid that even working part-time brings a very good income.
The job platform Stepstone identified seven job profiles for the Handelsblatt, in which the annual salary for around 30 hours of work per week is more than 60,000 euros. That corresponds to more than the average salary in Germany.
At 30 percent, Germany has the third highest part-time rate in the EU. “Almost every second woman works part-time,” says Tobias Zimmerman, labor market expert at the job platform Stepstone. For men, on the other hand, the rate is only twelve percent.
