Russia’s war against Ukraine – all developments

Russia’s chief negotiator in talks with Ukraine representatives about an end to the fighting, Vladimir Medinsky, says the closest they have come to is on the issue of neutrality and Ukraine’s renunciation of NATO membership. There is talk of nuances in security guarantees for Ukraine should it not become a NATO member. We are halfway there with the demilitarization of Ukraine demanded by Russia.

Ukraine, on the other hand, stated that Russia had not moved in the negotiations. Russia has repeated its demands, Mykhailo Podoliak tweeted. He accuses the Russian side of fueling tensions with their statements in the media. He reiterated Ukrainian demands for a ceasefire, the withdrawal of Russian troops and security guarantees for Ukraine.
