Dusseldorf The largest German management consultancy Roland Berger increased its business significantly in 2022. Sales increased by 18 percent to almost 870 million euros, said CEO Stefan Schaible in an interview with the Handelsblatt. “It was another excellent year. We’re back in full force.”
The reason for this is a new positioning. You no longer come across as the classic restructuring and reorganization team, but as the designers of the digital transformation. In 2023, Roland Berger will again see clear double-digit growth and, according to his forecast, turn over one billion euros for the first time.
In recent years, 55-year-old Schaible has done what he and his fellow consultants are usually hired to do by other company leaders: he has restructured and is driving change. Schaible spoke to the Handelsblatt about the new figures, the IPO plans and his own future with the consultancy founded in 1967.
