Ripple–SEC As the case drags on, the Ripple community is looking for new ones. Community last resort Elon Musk‘ to join forces with them to fight against the securities regulator. This, Tesla CEOIt came just after the U.S. filed a lawsuit against the SEC.
As it is known, Ripple has been dealing with the SEC lawsuit for a very long time. Both sides have presented numerous arguments and defenses to the court, and the case has turned into a snake story! The most important fact is that, no matter how the case ends, the party that will be most affected by the decision will undoubtedly be Ripple. As such, Ripple fans do not lose hope for the case to be won.
In a letter addressed to Musk and Tesla’s attorney Alex Shapiro, Manhattan U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan stated that the SEC is following their clients with numerous investigations. According to Shapiro, the reason why the SEC is dealing with Musk so much is that Elon Musk continues to openly criticize the government.
A response from the SEC is expected by February 24. On the other hand, Musk’s lawyer, Shapiro, is of the opinion that the SEC has denied the Tesla CEO’s right to freedom of speech. Because, according to the information learned, the SEC opened the case on Musk’s statements on Twitter.

It was precisely this case that prompted the Rippe community to seek support from Elon Musk. Because many Ripple supporters think that the XRP community has a similar grudge against the SEC. On the other hand, Ripple lawyer John Deaton also invited Musk to join the XRP community.
