A new regulation regarding the buildings to be built in the coming years has been published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, it will be mandatory to use energy-saving and renewable energy sources in newly constructed buildings.

After this change, the minimum thermal insulation material thicknesses are less than 5 centimeters in Istanbul. 7-8 centimeters, and in Ankara from 6 centimeters 8-9 will be rearranged to increase to centimeters.
