Real Vision CEO Raoul Pal has reconsidered his crypto predictions after weeks of volatile market fluctuations.
In a “tweet thread” he shared on Twitter, the macro guru shared his comment on why sentiment towards digital assets suddenly plummeted, and then made suggestions on what investors can do in both the short and long term.
“Excess disposable income curtailed by inflation. [düşüş için] I think he is partially to blame. Most are injured by past cycles when this point in the “halving cycle” produces the peak. But it can make you “overly” cautious in your mind based on past damage.”
Pal reminds crypto investors that despite the dramatic rises and falls in the intervening months, prices have returned to May 2021 levels. He believes that more mainstream adoption is still to come and will be embraced by different creative industries as well.

Significant corporate adoption continues with exponential new use cases. There is also a growing understanding of the importance of Web 3.0 by artists, musicians and brands.

Looking ahead to 2022, he expects new energy and inclusion will follow as traditional financial institutions allocate resources to the digital assets space.
When it comes to actionable moves while waiting for the market to warm up again, Raoul Pal said: Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) Top crypto assets like Terra (LUNA), Avalanche (AVAX) and Solana (SOL) altcoins.
“If you want to use leverage, add small premiums to the options you can write.
Tier 1s BTC, ETH, LUNA, AVAX and SOL are better core assets.
NFTs are the most speculative but they also innovate quickly, so have some of that too.”
