Real Vision CEO Raoul PalHe stated that Ethereum (ETH) will “definitely” surpass Bitcoin, the leading crypto asset in terms of market cap.
Speaking in a new YouTube interview with The Stakeborg Talks, the macro guru said, Ethereum (ETH) He suggested that the current speed and growth of its network indicates that it will outperform Bitcoin (BTC) in the future.
When asked if he saw ETH “flippening” BTC’s market cap, Pal confidently answered that question.
“Yes, definitely. Absolutely.”
Pal also warned that there is little point in comparing the two cryptoassets.
“One is the internet of value and the other is a store of value. The two are not the same thing. All the cell phone networks in the world are worth more than gold, but no one compares them. This is stupid. But people are comparing these crypto assets.
Now, in 10 years Bitcoin (BTC) if it has smart contracts, cheap transactions, all these things that Ethereum has to offer, then it won’t be much of a problem, that could change again.
I don’t necessarily think of this as a permanent change. Maybe something else will happen. I am absolutely open to all changes.”
While Ethereum’s current market cap is around $452.9 billion, it is worth roughly half of Bitcoin’s market cap of over $903 billion.
