QualcommDeveloped for Windows computers Snapdragon is preparing to expand its series processors. A new event shared encryptedly draws attention to Snapdragon X. Publishing a 15-second video, the company stated that the announcement would be made on April 24.

Details about the event are not yet known, but the video has fueled speculation about Qualcomm’s plans. Many users think that it is aimed at the first desktop processor, Snapdragon X Elite. The first Windows 11 computers powered by X Elite are expected to be released by summer.
Qualcomm first announced the Snapdragon X Elite late last year. He said that brands such as Lenovo, HP and Dell will release laptops in 2024. Previous leaks also revealed the design of a Lenovo laptop that will allegedly use the new processor.
According to some users, Qualcomm may be organizing this event to detail the Snapdragon X processor. It was recently stated that it will be less powerful than the X Elite. With Snapdragon X Plus Related rumors emerged.
On the other hand, engineers stated that playing games with Snapdragon X Elite will be possible and “extremely efficient”. This means that most games on Steam will run on computers with Snapdragon without the need for optimization.
Qualcomm claims that games will run smoothly with x86/x64 emulation. The company’s Adreno GPU will also support DirectX 11, 12 and Vulkan graphics APIs and OpenGL technology.
